Here's what a job looks like when it goes deeper than siding. This Dorr home had wall damage that wasn't just cosmetic - the framing underneath had rotted out, which meant the exterior was basically open to the elements. That kind of thing doesn't get better on its own.
We stripped it all the way back. New framing, new insulation, new drywall on the inside, and then finished it out with a fresh window, new siding, and trim to match. Every layer of the wall got addressed - not just the parts you can see from the street.
That's the thing with rot damage. By the time it's visible on the outside, there's usually more going on behind it. Skipping straight to new siding without fixing the structure underneath is just putting a bandage over the real problem. We don't work that way.
The finished wall is tight, insulated, and properly sealed. The new window sits clean in fresh trim, and the siding runs flush across the whole section. From the inside, you'd never know it was ever an issue.
If something on your home looks off - bubbling paint, soft spots, siding that's warping or pulling away - it's worth getting eyes on it sooner rather than later. Small problems have a way of turning into big ones fast.
