New Wood Deck and Aluminum Railing Build in Comstock Park

We just wrapped up a full outdoor upgrade for a homeowner in Comstock Park, and this one had a little bit of everything. New wood deck out back, black aluminum railing all the way around, a clean staircase leading down to the yard, and fresh AZEK trim on the front of the home. It's the kind of job where every piece works together to make the whole property feel more finished.

The deck itself is built with fresh pressure-treated wood - tight, even boards with good grain throughout. The black aluminum railing ties the whole thing together. Aluminum is a solid choice for this kind of setup because it doesn't rot, doesn't need painting, and holds its look year after year without much maintenance. The staircase is built the same way, with matching railing on both sides all the way down to the yard.

Out front, we installed new AZEK trim around the entryway. AZEK is a cellular PVC product, which means it won't crack, warp, or absorb moisture the way wood trim does. It holds paint longer and stays looking sharp with minimal upkeep. It's one of those upgrades that homeowners don't always think about until they see the difference - and then they wonder why they waited.
